Visteon approached us with the great responsibility of making a special Christmas ad that will share their company’s message around the world. The goal was to create a video that displays the great potential of their products but also shares a true emotion by telling Santa’s struggles.
Visteon wanted a special Christmas ad that included one of its latest products in Mercedes’s most recent car models. The company’s new technology allows the driver and passengers to experience a truly unique journey. The features developed by the technology giant include an intuitive driver control, mobile phone connectivity, interior lighting controls, and much more.
The main character in the ad, Santa Claus, prepares in a rather unusual way for his important task of delivering presents. His use of odd accessories keeps the audience’s interest high and curious about what’s next. And what’s next is his run-in with the man of the house. The man walks in as Santa is delivering his presents in his strange outfit that includes a leather jacket, a helmet, a Walkman. Stunned by the unusual sight, the man of the house just passes him by. A few moments later, just as Santa is leaving, the man comes back but this time he’s bringing an unexpected gift – a key for a car. A car that eliminates the need for all his strange gear and simply delivers a joyful experience thanks to the variety of features provided by Visteon.
